PBB Mission Statement

The purpose of the Powhatan Band Boosters (PBB) is to provide financial & voluntary support to the Powhatan High School Bands & Ensembles. Since its inception in 1990, PBB oversees fundraising activities to further the endeavors of the Powhatan Bands & Ensembles.

THIS WEEK: Fri. 10/19 - Homecoming Football Game - Marching Band performs!  Sat. 10/20 - Bands of America Regional Competition at Towson University in Towson, Maryland ~ Marching Band practice Tues-Thurs-Fri 3-6pm ~ Earn points for your student account by working Bingo &  Football Concessions!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Powhatan Marching Indians for receiving another Grand Champion trophy in the 24th Annual Bluestone Marching Barons Competition!!!  Other awards for this competition: 1st Place General Effect, 1st Place Percussion, 1st Place Colorguard, 2nd Place Hornline!!!  This is the 1st time ever the Marching Band has received two Grand Champion Trophies in one season!!!!!  Congratulations to Nick Snead for receiving 1st Place Drum Major at every competition also a first!!!  Congratulations also to Percussion & Colorguard for also taking 1st Place respectively at every competition this season!!! What a FANTASTIC season!!!

Welcome to Powhatan Band Boosters!  The 2007-2008 school year has begun & Marching Band is in full swing!  Thanks to the many parents & volunteers who helped to make Pre-season Marching Band a success!

Fill out & submit forms online, get information on upcoming events & fundraisers as well as sign up to work them, print documents & contact board or staff members!

Do you have an idea for a fundraiser?  Let us know!  We're always looking for new fundraising ideas & would be happy to talk with you about it! 

Do you have a special talent, hobby or skill?  We are always in need of carpenters, seamstresses, artists, nurses/doctors, truck drivers & a multitude of other talents.  Please let us know if you're willing to help in some way!
